📄 Lorem Ipsum Generator

Using Lorem Ipsum Generator

Fill a web page, slide or print mock-up with neutral placeholder text so you can judge spacing and line length before the real copy is written.

How to use it

1. Choose Paragraphs, Sentences or Words, depending on whether you are filling an article body, a caption or a button label.
2. Set the count between 1 and 50.
3. Click Generate; each click produces a new random arrangement of the same Latin-style vocabulary.
4. Click Copy Lorem Ipsum and paste it into your design, marking it clearly so it is not published by mistake.

Worked example

Input and settings

Words, count 5

Expected result

Five placeholder words, such as "dolor sit amet consectetur elit"; the selection changes on every click.

Limits and common mistakes

• Lorem ipsum words are short, so real headings, product names and translated text (German especially) usually need more room than the filler suggests.
• The text is meaningless on purpose, and a page that still contains it is a common reason search engines and ad reviewers treat a site as unfinished.
• Generated text is plain; it has no headings, links or bullet lists for testing rich formatting.
