Using QR Code Generator & Templates

Create a static QR for text, a URL, a personal Wi-Fi network or a contact, and inspect QR images when your browser supports decoding.

How to use it

1. Choose text/URL, Wi-Fi or contact mode and enter the relevant fields. Contact output uses vCard 3.0.
2. Choose error correction and PNG size, then explicitly create the code. Download PNG for raster use or SVG for scalable placement.
3. Test the downloaded code on your intended devices at the final print/display size. Keep the white quiet zone around it.
4. Clear all content when finished. The decoder can inspect a supported image without automatically opening decoded links.

PNG and SVG codes that encode https://example.com. Editing the input immediately invalidates the old downloads.

Limits and common mistakes

• Content limit: 1,200 UTF-8 bytes; high error correction may accept less. A QR is static; changing its content requires a new export.
• Wi-Fi template supports WPA/WPA2 personal passphrases and open networks, not enterprise or WPA3-only setup. Anyone who scans the code can recover the encoded credentials.
• Contact fields are personal information. The tool puts no QR content in URLs, local storage or tool-event reporting. The QR route is excluded from the site ad allowlist.
• Decoding depends on browser BarcodeDetector support; generation is independent. Decoder inputs are PNG/JPEG/WebP up to 25 MiB.
• A decoded destination is not verified as safe. Scanner/contact-import behavior varies; test with the devices you intend to use.
