Using Strong Password Generator

Create a new random password that meets a site's length and character rules, for example when signing up for an account or rotating a shared Wi-Fi key.

How to use it

  1. Drag Password Length to what the site allows; it starts at 16 and goes from 6 to 64. Longer is stronger whenever the site accepts it.
  2. Tick the character groups the site requires: Uppercase, Lowercase, Numbers and Symbols.
  3. Tick Exclude Similar Characters if someone will read the password aloud or type it from paper, so i, l, 1, L, o, 0 and O cannot be confused.
  4. Click Generate New until you get one you want, check the strength bar, then Copy Password straight into your password manager.

Worked example

Input and settings
Length 20; Uppercase, Lowercase and Numbers ticked; Symbols off
Expected result
A new 20-character password of letters and digits, different on every click.
