Using Batch Image Converter

Convert several images to the same format without repeating the single-file workflow or uploading your sources.

How to use it

1. Choose 1 to 10 PNG, JPEG or WebP files. A new selection replaces the current batch.
2. Choose a format, quality where available, and maximum width and height. Default bounds are 1920 by 1920 pixels; smaller images are never enlarged.
3. Start conversion and read each file status. Cancel stops remaining work after the current browser operation finishes; already completed files remain available.
4. Download successful files individually, or prepare a ZIP then click Download ZIP. A failed input does not discard other completed files.

Worked example

Input and settings

photo.png, photo.jpg and a corrupt broken.png; WebP output.

Expected result

The two valid inputs produce photo.webp and photo-2.webp. The corrupt file has its own error. The ZIP contains only successful outputs.

Limits and common mistakes

• At most 10 files, 25 MiB each and 50 MiB total input. Each pixel bound is required and limited to 2048; the single-image tools allow larger outputs.
• Retained results reserve room for ZIP headers within a 50 MiB archive budget. Output growth can exhaust that budget; use individual conversion for rejected results. Input byte limits cannot guarantee device decoding memory.
• Files run sequentially. Cancellation cannot interrupt a native decoder or encoder already running; its result is discarded if cancellation was requested.
• PNG has no quality slider. JPEG replaces transparency with the chosen background. File-size savings are not guaranteed.
• This creates still images and does not guarantee animation, metadata or color-profile preservation. The ZIP packages the encoded files without extra compression. Keep your original files.
